Development Associate: Breakthrough Management Group (BMG), a niche
consulting firm based in Longmont, CO, is looking to add a motivated
new member to its Business Development team. Primary
responsibilities include supporting the existing sales team and
working within a team-based sales environment to expand BMG’s market
share. Other responsibilities include performing market research,
mining sales leads and compiling preliminary monthly sales
forecasts.
They are
looking for someone that is eager to learn the cross functional
roles involved in business development. This position requires a
highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a
willingness to learn on the job. Strong verbal and written
communication skills are a must. In addition, proficiency in MS
Office, specifically Word, Power Point and Excel are required.
The ideal
candidate will have a business degree and a willingness to learn
sales techniques related to consulting services, specifically in the
Six Sigma arena. Moreover, an understanding of professional protocol
and the ability to interact with all levels of employees is
required.

- Six Sigma
Black Belt candidates must possess proven strength in a functional
discipline – for instance, technical professionals such as
chemists, engineers, programmers, or service representatives; or
business professionals such as analysts, accountants, buyers, or
project managers. They must have at least two years of applied
industrial experience and a college degree or the equivalent years
of experience (16 years).
Candidates also
must have strong "people skills" and change-agent skills. And they must be
proficient in applying continuous improvement and statistical
methods and tools. Most importantly, they must have the respect of
their managers and peers at Kodak.
A Six Sigma
Black Belt speaks the language of management (money, time,
organizational dynamics, etc.), as well as the language of other
members of the Kodak team (implementation details, quality tools,
statistical techniques, problem-solving methods, etc.). Black Belts
carry a high level of peer respect and are obvious
leaders.

be able to serve as a change agent, internal consultant, tools
